WHEN DO I MAKE A WISHLIST?

For the big days and the tuesdays.

There is no rule that says you must wait for a grand milestone to be celebrated. Whether you are finally moving into a home with a proper kitchen, coordinating a group gift for a friend, or simply marking a minor personal victory, a wishlist is a remarkably sensible place to start.

A FEW WAYS THE SERVICE
WORKS FOR YOU

[01]

What is a wishlist?

+
A wishlist is a list of products you would like to receive as gifts. You can create and share one with friends and family for your wedding, baby shower, birthday or any other big life event, so your guests can give you things you will love and use.
[02]

Can I add anything to my wishlist?

+
Yes. You can add anything from any online store—we’ll fetch the details from the product link you give us. You can also create cash funds to collect contributions for something big, such as a special trip or a major purchase.
[03]

How do I get the gifts?

+

Guests can reserve gifts from your wishlist and buy them independently from the retailer. You can add your shipping address so they can send the gift directly to you.

Guests can also make cash contributions to any gift or cash fund with contributions enabled. The money is settled to your bank account after the transaction fee is deducted.

[04]

Why is there a transaction fee on cash contributions?

+

Cash contributions are processed seamlessly through Hazlnut’s secure payment gateway, and you can track every transaction on your account page.

Guests can use UPI, Credit/Debit cards, Apple Pay and more from anywhere in the world.

We charge a 3% transaction fee to give you and your guests a completely hands-off experience, so you can focus on your event. Reach out to us if you would like a discount on your fees—we’ll see what we can do!

[05]

Can I use the platform for free?

+
Yes, absolutely! You only pay when you use cash contributions. Creating, sharing and managing your wishlist, adding gifts and reserving gifts are completely free.
Happy couple

What made it especially meaningful was that guests chose items from a list we had put together for our new home.
After the wedding, it felt amazing to go out together and pick those things, knowing each one had been chosen with love by someone in our lives made the whole experience incredibly meaningful.

Anisha & Manish

Prahlad and Sreyashi

If you’re an NRI getting married in India, Hazlnut is a total game-changer. We really didn’t want to lug physical gifts back to the States, and up until now there has not been a platform that seamlessly lets you add item to the registry and guests to buy gifts with ease regardless of their geographic location. Hazlnut bridges this exact gap.

Wishlist moment

I used this site called Hazlnut after reaching my wit’s end trying to find a good, clean, ad-free registry website. So straight forward, the team was easy to work with, and most importantly (and uniquely, I thought) they gave the option to contribute partially to a gift. Also. managed international payments easy peasy. One big headache off my head when it came to the wedding 😅

FEATURED IN VOGUE INDIA

Wedding gifting is evolving

Cover of the Vogue India September–October 2026 issue

In “Present Perfect,” Vogue India’s The Wedding Book 2026 explores how Indian couples are finding a thoughtful middle ground between tradition and what they genuinely need.

The article features Hazlnut through the story of Anisha and Manish. Their wishlist gave guests helpful direction while preserving the generosity and sentiment behind every gift.

“It’s an evolution, not a revolution. We’re showing families the alternative: intentional, convenient, waste-conscious gifting.”

Siddharth Bharteeya
Founder, Hazlnut

Hazlnut gives couples a simple way to share what would genuinely be useful, while guests remain free to choose a gift or contribute together in a way that feels right to them.
